Some of you may have realised that there are a lot new social media networks that try to give back earnings to their users. This concept of rewarding clients for their activity is in my opinion the future of social communities in general. I posted about the social network tsu quite often in the past. Another newbie to check out is called WowApp – an alternative to Skype and WhatsApp.
What is WowApp?
WowApp is a free VoIP app that can bring revenues to end-users. It was launched onto the market after attracting investments of USD 30 million, WowApp provides a system whereby users can receive part of the profits earned by the company that created the app.
The App can be used for instant messaging and making voice calls as well as video calls. With WowApp, end-users can earn revenues every time they engage with the people in their WowApp network. End-users are rewarded with the virtual currency named wowcoins that are automatically converted into USD once transferred into end-users own accounts or to NGOs.
The so-called “rewards” are obtained when users choose to see advertisements while using the app or choose to use WowApp as a pre-paid phone service and make calls outside the WowApp network. The communication, voice or video calls, in the WowApp network is not charged.
WowApp is free and shares over 70% of its own revenue/margin with you. From what you earn you can donate to one of the 2,000 Charities in 110 countries or cash out for yourself.
Why is WowApp an alternative to WhatsApp?
So, are people earning money by using the App? Yes – they do. I am testing this since November. Until last November I used Whatsapp and Facebook Messenger for texting, Gotomeeting and Skype for video calls. Now I am only using WowApp as this App gives me the all in one solution and in addition I can earn some coins for my activity. The quality of video and audio calls was surprisingly impressive to me. To me – WowApp is the real alternative to WhatsApp and Skype.
The picture shows my current stats and I am not as active as many others.
I am looking forward to hearing your feedback, comments, questions and hope we will be chatting on WowApp soon.
